I bought the Grizzly G-0768 8" X 16". The lathe is going on a sturdy built in bench in the garage. I also have a lot of Ballistol Sportsman's Oil I use for black power solvent and lubricant. I mix the Ballistol 10:1 with water for a solvent. I was once told it is also used for cutting oil...

Needing something new to keep my mind going I bought myself a metal hobby lathe for my 70th birthday. It has not arrived yet but that is giving me time to study the manual, set up and instructions. Tooling is also on the way and I have all the other equipment. The lathe sets in a metal oil...
