    Garage Plans

    I know you can get 11 7/8 TJI up to 42 feet long. I would call the TJI company and have them do a load plan for the span etc. They will do it for free most of the time. I used steel to get the span I wanted.

    Ok, So here is my deck and patio. A friend and I built all this. I still need to finish the ceder siding on the stairs going up to the second floor of the garage.     The specs. on the I-Beams are W18 X 40. The "40" means the weight of the beam per foot. They are 39 feet long. They are 7 1/2 inches wide also. I hope this helps. Scott
