    Was I overcharged for 410a

Mitsubishi uses linear electric valves. More or less a stepper motor, increasing and decreasing orifice size per multiple thermistor readings to the processor. There is 3 LEV's on a twin system.

    Was I overcharged for 410a

You got screwed. Pre charged for 131' of lineset. After that you need to add 1.08 oz. Per additional 5ft of liquid line (small line). Max run length to each indoor 84 feet. Total system can not be more than 164' feet. Your system is overcharged! Or he charged you for refrigerant he never used...

It will condense from vapor back to liquid state.

    condensation in attic

Main purpose is for maintaining proper total super heat to compressor. Without it may absorb to much heat and slug liquid refrigerant into the compressor causing failure.

    condensation in attic

Yes insulation for the refrigerant line. Only really need it on the suction line ( bigger one).

    condensation in attic

Make sure to use armor flex, 1/2" wall and tape or glue the ends together. It will be fine.

Selecting the Best Mini Split System

Mxz series mitisubishi outdoor units come in different sizes from 2 to 8 indoor heads. Max refrigerant line length to each indoor is average 82 feet. Proper placement of the condenser can usually cover most homes and garage. Example of a 3:1 system...

Selecting the Best Mini Split System

The senville would be the best pick of the ones listed. As it is inverter driven and seems to be the only one that will operate at -15. What capacity it has at that temp is unknown. How well it performs will be very dependent upon how tight an envelope the space is. Biggest heat/cool loads will...

We build. Pre-wire for mini split?

Condenser unit size and type will dictate wire size and amperage. Better off running conduit to it and leave a pull wire in it. Other wise you are wiring for an unknown? Seems wasteful.

    Mini-Split Question...

Operating range for the one posted in heating is 47° to 17°. 25k btus at 47 and 22k btus at 17. May work in lower outdoor temperature but capacity will drop significantly. This may require you go up in size to compensate. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
