That's true, and I accept that. I guess I'm just curious if it's really worth the expense. .....Is there a significant difference in the heat being kept in or out.

I've been considering insulating my garage doors with the insulation panels that can be bought at Home Depot. Any experience? Do they REALLY help? Will they be heavy enough to cause issues with the garage door opener down the road ?

tdk is right. There is a HUGE difference in the way these lifts are manufactured. I have a Challenger (Quality brand ) 9000 pound unit. Certified as well. Be very careful with some of the cheapie lifts. I bought mine from kwik-lift.com

An autolifters for 600 ?? Not bad ! a 4 post for 600 ? I have had my kwik-lift for years and couldn't do without it. I guess it really depends on the type of cars a person is working on. I need to access the middle of my cars and trucks and rarely have a need to do brake or suspension work...

Interesting that someone (russell ) would place the kwiklift on this list. I have a Rotary 4 post and 2 Kwiklifts, and I actually use the Kwiklifts more than the Rotary, and they work great.
