Thanks guys, floorspace makes sense. That and I guess if you need a sealed burn type set-up, then an HVAC unit is the way to go ? I'm not going to be painting in there, but every once in a while I might have some flammables.

I'm planning a 40x40x12 stick built insulated shop/garage. I'm wondering why it seems most people are using "hanging type" heaters vs a "home-type furnace" HVAC unit. I'm just trying to figure out placement of things and my options. Anyone ? I'm planning on using Natural gas. Oh - this will...
