    Home made tool

No need to get your ******* in a wad. You posted a pic of the tool like you invented it. Fence stretchers like that have been around forever. Good for you that you made one. I was just pointing out that Menards and every other box store stocks them for cheap.

    Would I regret a 4 post lift?

Glad you got your money back. What started as a fun and exciting purchase, turned into a nightmare. All the heartache will be worth it though when you finally get a lift. They are absolutely game changers when it comes to working on vehicles.

Trouble getting button head cap screws out

Grip Edge hex extractors. You can buy them individually. At work, all the molding machines I work on are assembled with SHCS and we deal with stripped out heads daily. 3mm and up. Love Grip Edge

Don't use an Impact on Honda/Acura Crankshaft Bolt?

Agree with the above. I bought a weighted socket for Hondas and never had an issue. I do use an 1/2”’air impact though to remove them. My battery impacts can’t do it. Put it on the crank bolt and let it chatter.

    Residential garage car lift suggestions

He only has a max WIDTH of 10’ as well. There is no two post that’s going to be less than 10’ wide than I know of.

    Residential garage car lift suggestions

You’re not going to find a two post with a maximum width of 10 feet. My Rotary can be setup with two width options but they are only 6” different. I set my up for the widest configuration and I’m glad I did. I can’t imagine having less door opening stroke than I currently have. In your case, it...

Matching 50+ year old dark trim

Go to an old school paint store and have it matched. I have a Premier paint and wall coverings store close to me. There’s an old dude working there that knows his ****. For a match, he requires a sample of the color and sheen you want and a decent size piece of wood from the species you are...

    Heating up the garage?

I’m in Wisconsin and my garage isn’t quite 1000 square feet. I have 12 foot ceilings and I rock a 125,000 BTU furnace. Gets warm really quick. Also have a 24K mini split for summer. Cools super fast.

Snowblower plugs when going slow. In 2" snow I have to push it faster than 6th gear...

Flapper mod here too. Most two stage blowers have an impeller to housing clearance of 1/2” or more. Mine was just 5/8”. Added the belting with stainless fasteners and it’s yet to plug up. I separated my blower housing so I could easily drill the impeller and added SS locknuts. The belting has...

Alright leaf people, what's the best way

Cyclone Rakes haven’t used zippers since 2009. Anything after that is Velcro and straps. I have a Cyclone Rake XL and love it.

How can I get this supply hose off?

Can’t help with that part. I don’t buy plumbing stuff from a big box store. I buy from my local plumbing supply house.

How can I get this supply hose off?

More importantly, when you replace the hose, be sure to get braided hoses. Some insurance companies highly recommend them versus rubber or plastic. I put braided lines on everything in my house that requires a hose.
