    Are these hurricane ties?

    Anyone know what these are for? Everyone is getting off track on the rafter stuff so I got more pictures without the odd framing. This is not my house but new construction I see in every house in NC.

    Need help with motor wiring

    This 120v motor can rotated in either direction via a rotary drum switch but unfortunately is not with the machine anymore. I'm getting old and can't decipher what this motor plate is telling me. Can someone please explain on how to connect the wires?
