    Autodesk Opinions or message boards?

Not release 9 this is "autosketch9" bought it last night at Office Depot for $130. I just needed a watered down version of CAD to do some house garage barn plans. I first used R3 in DOS back in '85 and that was easier than this.

RED - Those pics are making me homesick for a warmer place (hey it was in the 40's this morning). The progress is coming along nicely, I miss block construction up here its mainly stick built. That one pic of the neighbor watching when you were scraping the grass is so typical for there I had...

What's the deal with this "Contractor Only" sales ****?

Danski is pretty much right on with dealing with toxic materials. The manufacturers are so scared of law suits that they want to take the extra step and try to insure that there product that can kill someone is only bought by "contractors" so they are less liable. And OH-MAN you are correct...

    Circular saw

I have a Skil Saw - standard nothing fancy it was around $50 a few years ago. I am not a fan of it, the table is off square and guard hangs up on being pushed up from time to time. I bought my crew a DeWalt corded and they love it, plenty of power and light weight.

    I've been shopping...

Red Caddy, I grew up in Sarasota from 1963 and seen first hand the NIMBY principle at work. Did you deal with the City of Venice or the County? Either way, unless it's a high-rise for downtown you have quite the accomplishment under your belt. Can't wait to see some pictures - Brian

I have a 14.4V makita and the battery started leaking after about 6 months the other battery is fine and at $70 for a new battery I just use the one. alternative to floor tiles and paint

Yes it is. My company has looked into this and others mainly acid staining. Acid staining is cheaper and gives a very unique look to the floor. A lot of resturants, upscale shops and motorcycle dealerships are using it. The neat thing is the small cracks in the concrete end up with a real nice...

Concrete curing/ painting floor time frame?

Muddy - you are right - 30 days. From building water plants for years, we always used epoxy & special coatings and followed the 30 day rule to allow the concrete to "cure out & breath" most of the time if schedule would allow - 45 days.
