    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

I can't think of a faster way to destroy a business than by doing **** work on something for BB767. This Epic thread has a bazillion followers and now the word is out about the shoddy work this guy did... Back when I had my shop even though I had other mechanics doing most of our work I made it...

"Aero-1946" at work - pics of a German hobby workshop project

You do nice work. But I sure hope you offer some of those parts to restoration shops before cutting them up. I know of several P-38's being restored, I believe one of those shops would have given you a lot of money for that tail. Every part of a WW2 aircraft is valuable to a restorer no matter...

    The German barn

WOW WOW WOW!!! That is incredible to find that much space and be able to transform it in that area!!! And a very nice gate for privacy too!!! I just left that area, I lived in Wombach (Schlangenbad) from 2006-2013 and loved every minute of it. The only problem was that I could never find a place...

Way to clean small carb jets the right way.

Hi, I regularly disassemble and clean aircraft carbs. My favorite cleaner is Hoppes Semi-automatic gun solvent. #11 hoppes is available at wally world pretty cheap. Dissolves carbon instantly and makes the part look like new. I use a small paint brush to apply the solvent. I totally disassemble...

    Airplane Hangar floor -Help!!

Jackfre, About 36 inches behind the hangar is...another hangar. I am going to call a concrete guy just for grins to see what it would cost to put 2 or 3 inches of concrete down. Other hangars on our row have done it in spite of the county and they look very nice with no water at all... I may...

    Airplane Hangar floor -Help!!

Hi Charles, Yes it is a Port a Port and at this point I'm thinking of just flooding the floor with epoxy floor paint- It will go into the cracks and hopefully seal it. Located at KLZU between Atlanta and Athens.

    Airplane Hangar floor -Help!!

Thanks for the replies. Can't post pics right now because I am in Afghanistan for the next few months. I think basically the water is getting between the old layers of paving outside through cracks, and then pushing out again through the cracks in my hangar floor.

    Airplane Hangar floor -Help!!

Hello Everyone! I have an airplane hangar that is bolted to the ramp out at my local airport. The building is roughly 35x35. The ramp is 20 year old asphalt. The asphalt is cracked and incredibly dirty. When it rains the water pushes up through the cracks in the floor. I have sealed all around...
