Another issue that just came up!

I find it odd that the government isn't providing your tools and box while you are in theatre working on aircraft.

i have a two car oven.

I have a 22x28 detached walls are insulated with sheetrock ceiling with no insulation in the rafters. There is a noticable difference in outside vs inside temps durring the summer. I cut a hole in the ceiling this spring for a future pull down access ladder and put some ply up there for storage...

    Garage Fan

I'm not a fan of the drum style fans. Old 30 " pedstal fans are the best in my opion. New Lasko 30" pedstal is about 160 at Sams or Costco. Patton and Lasko both make high velosity floor fans in the 20" - 22" range that move a lot of air.

    Evaporative Coolers

The MWR Auto shop I used to frequent has several large (5x5) swamp coolers on carts for use in the summer. We ran one pointing down the middle of a 12 bay shop. 2 lifts and 5 bays on one side and 5 bays on the other. Doesn't cool the shop really but when you need a cool down, just stepping back...

    Freeing Frozen Engine

Thanks for the replys. I squirted PB Blaster in the spark plug holes last night and will try a breaker bar on the engine this evening. If not free I'll mix up something stronger. I'm hoping that the rust is light since the motor has been under a closed hood just no plug or carb for the last 3 years.

    Best slatwall system for garage

Not a purchased system but I built this slat setup for storage in my garage. Ran the slats from 30" off the floor to 7' with a 6" spacing. Just an alternitive if you are interested. Doesn't look as nice as the high end slat wall system but much cheaper. I built this system running down a 28'...

    Newbie here - 30x48 - budget buster!

The foil bubble insulation is really only good as a radiant heat block imo. I have use it in my horse barns to block the heat from the roof in the summer. I have foam panels (R7.4) for insulation that works well but I live in a mild winter area. Mid 20s is my normal nightly low.

Liftmaster LA400, LA100 or something else for swing gate operator?

I don’t have an opener but when we move to the current property we were looking at one from TSC. It wasn’t the entry level one but next one up. We have several friends that have had good luck with their openers from TSC. I changed my mind because this is the main access to the property and my...
