Go as high as you possibly can. I went with 14ft on a 32x40 and it will provide me enough height for my 4 post lift and also enough room for a loft for storage.

Thanks Dave. I'm getting a little antsy. Got stuff piled in the garage ready to be installed when the barn is complete. Sooooo much 12/2 wiring. lol Yesterday they got the lean-to completed. This morning they were out at 7am to start Shingling the roof before the heat comes.

Awesome! Yah I am really excited to see how the loft and stairs turn out. When we get to that point I will take pictures of any angle you want if it helps. ;) All the trusses are up now and they are framing out all my doors and windows today. :bounce:

I think I have decided on a full HVAC system. Do it once and be done with it and if I do end up walling off the kennel, I can just use some flexible ducting to get heat and AC over to that small room. HVAC guy suggests 60K BTU Furnace with a 2.5t AC unit. Does that sound right?

We're getting somewhere! Trusses going up and man am I glad I went with 10' tall doors. Those are going to be nice when I'm pulling larger trucks in or backing the enclosed trailer in.

What’s the longevity of the Radiant or Celing mount garage heaters running off and on every day for 8 months out of the year? That’s the other reason a furnace sound appealing to me. Very long warranties...

I work on cars but not daily. I have a side business and will be using part of the work area for that maybe 5-6 hours a week. I don't weld yet and I do no woodworking.

Interesting option. Obviously with our dogs being in the garage I want something that is safe because they could be in there for 8-10 hours at a time. I was hoping for a WiFi thermostat option and I am not sure if this type of unit can do that.
