I notice that you have OSB over the ceiling. OSB is as much resin and glue as it is particles. Therefore the OSB could be considered your vapour barrier and will jkust need a coat of paint to lighten the ceiling aspect.

The OSB will act as a vapour barrierbecause of the high amount of resin present. Much better than the paper over the insulation which is basically useless..the paper not the insulation. I'd get the company back to replace their sloppy work and get the OSB up.

Last time I checked, about 6 months ago, not a single PEX supplier provides a certification that PEX is good with compressed air. Thats why I always use copper or iron. If the suppliers will not explain the lack of tests for use with compressed air then I will not use it.

Even simpler. Get a spade, remove build up of soil so that the base of the concrete can breath to atmosphere. Water and damp will disappear.

Can I ask. How do you know it has asbestos in the flooring. Has it been tested with a chemical asbestos detector. If not then these kits are available quite cheaply and test can be done by you with a small/tiny portion of the floor. It looks like thermoplastic tiles from the 60's to me.

Asbestos was removed from all products by 1973 so little chance of the popcorn including asbestos. To be certain buy a test kit, they are cheap, do test and then smile. paying someone to go through and remove all popcorn would be a good choice. You will know this 30 minutes in when you...
