    Pex/Radient heat questions...

    Thanks jeffs295 and hyvolt. I'm a newb to the site and radiant but my future home has it (ok if the deal closes) and I 'm sure I mentioned elsewhere in here about wanting to do the shop. But the slab has been poured and unless it's cracked up then no need to replace. Ya, I'm stupid in many ways...

    I just got talked out of Radiant heat

    Now that's what I'm hoping for also. Let the sun just keep it warm during the daytime and a large storage tank to help keep the temp during the night. Mass of the slab would probably do that by itself to a point and then reheat during the day. IT'd be interesting to know how much it would vary...

    Mini zones in radiant slab

    Man that's gonna be a huge shop, WOW. I'll be curious on heating costs but like you said, if you can just heat a portion of it. Wonder if heating certain sections will cause concrete expansion issues? Will you have expansion joints in your common work area to seperate zones? I'm just now...
