    Soldering copper

    If it is not leaking you probably will never have problems. Stuffing bread in a leaking line is the best thing I have ever found. The plumber that showed me the trick had to stuff 2 loves of bread in a leaking 2" line to solder the joint.

    Framing nailers

    I have used Bostitch, Senco, Spot Nail, DuoFast, and Paslode. All will get the job done. Senco being my favorite. I prefer the paper nails. The plastic ones you have stuff flying everywhere.

    Fire retartant treatments for wood

    Fire rated lumber is readily available. It is much better than any treatment you apply. I have held a cutting torch to fire rated lumber and it will not ignite. It will char but never ignite.

    Another size question

    For years I had a 20x40 x8 wood frame shop. Big enough to do lots of stuff. I had a 16' door that I really liked. You could back something down the middle. It had a 8' wall height. I would recommend a10'. Just to hard moving a sheet of plywood.

    I have been using solid core wood doors for 30 years. Always worked great for me. I do put a 1/8" piece of Masonite on top of mine. After a few years another piece of Masonite and you have a new top.
