    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Roxi was out chasing a critter of some sort the other night. She came in later and had of her nail partly separated with a little bit of bleeding. I picked up some MicrocyAH wound care stuff, and have been dressing up the wound. Hope it heals up soon. She limps/favors that paw on occasion, but...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Piling on to my earlier post regarding the heater core replacement on the old Cougar. After completing that job, the water pump decided to leak. It must have been on its way out for some time, because the bearing/shaft is pretty sloppy. I had a new one on the shelf, along with a timing chain...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

The Cougar has been without heat for quite a while now. I replaced the heater core about eight years ago, with an aluminum Chinese part from oreillys. I didn't think much about going with aluminum(vs the original brass/copper core). Anyhow, the oreillys part only lasted less than a couple of...

I modified 3/4" wrench so I could replace the vacuum modulator on a C4 transmission. I have some thin Park Tool bicycle wrenches, but nothing this big.

Spark plugs and a serpentine belt on my wife's VW Atlas. The local dealer was doing some warranty work on it, and recommended these parts to be replaced at 46,000 miles. Their quote was a bit of a shocker, so I ordered the stuff from FCP Euro. Plugs are getting expensive, at $20 each. Anyhow...

    Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat Location?

First off, apologies if I am in the wrong forum. I am looking for some assistance here in finding the defrost thermostat on my GE bottom freezer refrigerator. I bought it about three years ago, and lately the freezer has not been cooling well. I removed the panel covering the evaporator, and...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

A long overdue service on my LA Pavoni cappuccino machine. I bought this about thirty five years ago, shortly after tasting my first mocha. It looked more appealing to me than than modern(for 1990) automated espresso makers. It makes a good shot, but definitely more time consuming than most...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

We had a little birthday party for Roxi over the weekend. She is eight years old. She had a burger patty smothered in sour cream, and a pigs ear from the local butcher. The other photo is from a camping trip two weeks ago a long the Spokane River.

I sealed the seams and painted the floorpan over the weekend. Today I got some sound deadening put in. If the carpet shows up this weekend, I'll put down some jute pad and install the carpet.

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Roxi and I had to pick my sons car today, so we decided to walk it. Well, the forecast was way off and we got soaked. Four miles and about fifty stops to smell pee from other dogs... Even though it was really wet, a long walk in the rain was pretty refreshing.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

rd65 Thanks for the heads up. Fortunately, I do have a sales invoice from the auction, and a notarized certificate of origin(looks similar to a title). I did get the wiring harness in, and the lights work now. I will most probably upgrade the tail/brake/turn signal light to LED.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Lol Yeah, I should have mentioned in the original post that my dad bought it at an auto auction in 1991. Which brings up another issue. He owned a used car lot back then, so the certificate of origin(title) was never transferred. Hopefully the auto licensing agency will work with me on getting...
