Thanks for the helpful perspectives! The thing that got me wondering is that some of the listings were routine listings of new items the sellers practically always have multiple auctions going for. So it seems a little odd they would cancel some of the auctions while others are still going. . .

What's the deal with Ebay sellers cancelling bids? I bid on a number of items over the past week, and quite a few of the auctions were cancelled before ending. "There was an error in the listing", "Item was lost or damaged", etc. given as reasons. This happened with 4 or 5 different sellers...

Going to take the plunge into the waters of oscillating tools also... Can anyone recommend blades for this tool? And why do the photos show the guy cutting sideways, when all the blades I see for sale only have cutting teeth on the front?
