    Yep that is the nascar version. I bought it from my neighbor who's a gynecologist. He bought it brand new for 1500 from CV products in North Carolina.

He is just assuming that, because the ir's use grease to lubricate the internal workings instead of *******, which has some kind of gear oil in theirs, the ir's internal workings dont get adequate lubrication and may wear out faster than the "superior" ********.     You could buy two IR's for what one of those overpriced things cost. IR owns. Blah blah about the plastic mines get treated like a football in a heavy eq shop. Oh and that is not a one sided opinion I actually do own both. The ******** works fine but why the hell bend over for what they cost...

    buy it the 2135 is a beast. mine gets dropped, slid, pulled around by the hose, got backed over once, and used beyond design in a heavy eq shop im amazed it hasn't died from abuse been going two years now.

    Sorry I disagree, I splurged last year and paid $900 for my thunder impact just to have around and show off, I used it a couple times and if I was rich I would definitely use it daily it goes into beast mode with its awesomeness

    air line

    I didn't even think about it until I read this thread, I used 1" schedule 80 pvc for the air lines in my 50 x 100 shop at home. Been 10 years and it still works, I wasn't aware of the hazards of it, guess ill just be careful :(
