Toolbox Transport - Get it off its casters?

On Saturday, I transported a KRL1001 450 miles. Thanks to KLars1, ron in sc, and others for the info in this thread, I didn't have a single problem. My trailer is aluminum, with some holes already in the deck for motorcycle wheel chocks and e-track. I got a sheet of plywood and bolted it to...

HF toolbox VS HF toolbox VS HF toolbox

True, but it's only 24" deep with approx 8,500 sq. in. of space, compared to the 30" deep HF box with approx 11,000 sq. in. of space. Exactly. Having wrenches (or pliers or screwdrivers) spread between multiple drawers is annoying to me. And to John, I usually pay attention to the square...

New Harbor Freight 72" Massive Toolbox Review

As mentioned earlier in the thread, you have to order it over the phone, coupon doesn't work online. I called them up last week to confirm the coupon could be used with the box, and they said it could.

    Motorcycle Racing Pit Boxes

I'm on the same page as this guy. Even with three different bikes, I don't need that many tools to service them. Lots of common fastener sizes, and they're almost all easily accessible. At the track I just need to change tires, bleed brakes, adjust the suspension, and maybe adjust the chain...

Need a set of the larger metric sockets

Yep; I bought 22-32mm Toptul sockets from Ultimategarage. The sizes he has in stock seem to be the ones I come across most often.

    Snap-On Tool Box Value???

I'm no expert, but I have been keeping my eye out for a Snap-On box for ~5 months. Based on what I read here, my area is on the high side of prices. That said, there was a KRL1001 roll cab with a KR1201 top box listed for $3500 for months, as far as I know it never sold. Compared to that, the...

    Painting siding question

Did the lip with a brush and then rolled the face of the siding. The cement board I used has a bit of a woodgrain texture to it, it doesn't show brush or roller marks.

    Painting siding question

I rolled my cement board siding with a normal roller, not foam. Looks fine.

Was it this one or this one? Based on your drawing looks like the second one. They've had those for a while.

PB swiss or Wera - need some new screwdrivers

I don't think of screwdrivers as a "last a lifetime" item like wrenches or sockets. They wear out over time.
