Maxjax lift spacing with Dodge Magnum, Charger, Challenger, 300???

So, I decided to give myself room for additional anchors (if I go wider) and set the post two feet from the wall. This allowed me to add anchors towards the wall, making the width adjustable.

That's a great price! Kinda jealous that I didn't wait.

    Maxjax anchors outdoors

So the first things I think of are: - The expansion and contraction of concrete over time due to the temperature fluctuations and how that impacts the friction created by wedge anchors Corrosion on the steel over time Debris in the anchors All solvable problems. - I personally would want to...

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

I originally picked up some door defender pads to protect my door from dings, but there isn't enough space between the posts and the cradle that lifts the arms. I was considering using a band saw to shave them down some... Anyone have an elegant solution to protect their car door(s)?

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

They are just 3/8" NPTF I suggest paying a little extra and getting the swivel fittings though and not the MP-06-06 and FP-06-06... EDIT: Those are MPX-06-06 and FPX-06-06 respectively for the swivel fittings.

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

I started a new thread because I didn't see this, but I'll repost it here: Finally finished the lift. Added a bottom safety lock location for tires, brakes and fluid changes. Ceiling is 96" and the door is in the way when it's open if the car is nose in, but the middle safety lock position on...

    MaxJax Installed!

It depends on the job, but most of my work does involve reaching up in some capacity. Last night I did the oil, transmission and bled the ACD pump, all of which required reaching up several times. Correct. Some people use a coffee filter to help hold the epoxy in place while it cures, but I...

    MaxJax Installed!

Nice! I've had it since 2008 and have been tracking it since 2009. Starting to look at other cars now though, getting bored. :P

    MaxJax Installed!

I did! Mentioned in the OP, but I needed a lower setting for tire changes, fluid changes and brakes. Size is 13/16". There is confirmation from Dannmar that it's safe to add two more safety lock locations to the posts, yet I've only needed one.

    MaxJax Installed!

Finally finished the lift. Added a bottom safety lock location for tires, brakes and fluid changes. Ceiling is 96" and the door is in the way when it's open if the car is nose in, but the middle safety lock position on the posts is more than high enough for 99% of the stuff I do with my track...

What's the best practical way of mounting Maxjax pump on the wall?

I'm right in the middle of this now, actually. I want my plywood to sit flush to the wall, did you guys use a spade bit to allow for the washer and hex bolt heads to sit flush? Here are a couple of samples I've taken from here and the web. Are people just using plywood for this?

A couple questions for Max Jax owners

Just a quick follow-up on these fittings. So they arrived yesterday and generally look okay but were packaged very poorly and had a faint odor I couldn't place. I'm sure they'll work fine, but just a heads-up. I think the price more than makes up for it though.

A couple questions for Max Jax owners

Thank you kindly. Those seem a bit steep, unless I'm looking at this wrong? http://www.hoseandfittingsupply.com/product-p/ffset.htm These are $16 for a set of one male and one female? I'm looking to run my hose through the ceiling sheet rock, does anyone have a good collar or something to...

A couple questions for Max Jax owners

I'm also slowly going through the install due to locating tools, time and kids but had a few questions regarding the fittings. It seems that the general consensus around here is that they're very hit or miss but mostly miss and should be replaced. Has anyone connected at 90* reducer directly to...
