I installed mine 3 weeks ago in 2 hrs. Most of the time was running the wires for sensors lock and controller. It's easy to install. As long as the door is balanced you don't need the springs adjusted. (Manually raise the door halfway and see if it stays, if so you are balanced)
Static electricity in a dust collection system improperly installed could create an explosion like a grain elevator or a fire. Having the dust collection pipes in a wood floor doesn't sound like the best option.
