Years ago, I was at my friend's house, making a quick repair on my E36 M3. I was using the glovebox flashlight, and I dropped it. It slid down into the engine bay, and onto the engine crossmember - right beneath the oil pan. I could not get to it, at all. I had to give up, and let it lay. And...

I wanted to get a click type torque wrench from craftsman, but they only warranty 1 year. HF, you can buy all three for dirt cheap, lifetime warranty. The only complaint I've read, and agree with, is the click is quiet. You need to pay attention.

I would not go with windows for security's sake.
