Brake bleeder tool - air through resevoir

I use a mityvac 7300 air powered fluid evacuator with the included brake bleeder hose. Cools thing is it’s multi-use, I use it to bleed power steering systems, clean coolant from head bolt holes and about anything else. Also mityvac 7400 is a pump style one that works equally well without a...

    Unusual uses for a press?

No picture right now but left over candle wax from the ladies scented obsession and dryer lint pressed into small discs make GREAT fire starters! Throw one in the pit under the small stuff and cover in split logs and light it and walk away. Sent from my iPhone using Garage Journal

Otc makes a stand for their Strut tamer compressor that’s pretty ingenious. It makes the job a lot better when it’s directly next to your work space and you don’t have to walk back for tools.

I use the air powered big one at work for the occasional brake bleed. Mainly for sucking coolant out of head bolt holes and clutches. And have the #7400 hand pump model at home where I do way more brakes and whatnot, I should probably switch them around!

Zebra F-701 as op mentioned. Bore the tip out a little and rock a fisher spr4b BOLD refill. Coupled with my pocket moleskin in my EDC. Even though the inner body is plastic the full outer stainless steel looks good and will stab the F***k out of something s few times before it falls apart...

    Redback vs Redwing work boots

I honestly couldn’t tell ya much about the wedge except that there’s more material in the arch area where I tend to tear outsoles. I never kneel and always squat so there and the toe area of the leather gets stressed heavily for me. They just seem to deteriorate sole wise a lot less than...

This may have been covered already but the matco serpentine belt tool kit has a gear wrench label inside the plastic box and is 100% identical to their apex brother gearwrench set, the wrench being labeled “matco” vs “gearwrench” is the only notable difference. Save over $100!

Why do Germans love Torx so much?

What about the Loctec Arnold fasteners in the newer GM products. A lot of PCV hoses have tamper proof connections requiring you to cut them and the pcv valves in everything have these fasteners where you cut a slot in them to remove with a flathead and use this bit to tighten... moronic

Bluetooth Earplug Earbuds for The Shop

I always loved my LG tones, I feel like I’ve had every model they have made between the pro and platinum lines over the years. Best Buy stores will NOT warranty them at all anymore.
