Pliers; How Many Is Too Many?

Good thought. I would have thought they would marked with some indication of brand. The 166 model seem much older.

Pliers; How Many Is Too Many?

Here are what I believe are both CeeTee pliers but from a different time period. The 8 inch are clearly marked but the 10 inch only have the number 166 stamped on them. Any thoughts?

    What is this old Tool?

Wool yarn. She has some friends who supposedly are going to shear some sheep and provide her with some, but who knows if it will be raw or not.

    Show your "Long C" Craftsman!

When I found this set, I thought surely there is a model number on the kit. So up and down the rabbit hole with no results. I had a Husky 3/8 drive and added it, but the rest came with it. There are mostly circle H but a few BEs if anyone is wanting to trade? And a handle repair.

    What is this old Tool?

Thanks for the answer. Been up and down the rabbit hole looking for some the old bobbins or whatever you call them. I might have to have a friend turn my wife a few. I have been trying to get her to nit be some 100% wool socks. She says she can't find the wool.

Pliers; How Many Is Too Many?

I grew up southwestern Pa with a few families, and then worked about five years near Slippery Rock and the boys would help at the trout hatchery. They would have to come down and pick the wooden switch out of the wood pile to get a switchin. And their mother would let me take them spotting for...

    c.1901 Roebling's Sons "Alligator" wrench

I have run the Pittsburgh Marathon three times, and I have had some friends that where iron workers back in the 1950s and 1960s and they would talk about the bridges that you cross during the marathon. A bunch of alligator and spud wrenches lay at the bottom of the Monongahela and Allegheny and...
