Combining compressed air/flammable liquids. Am i stupid?

It is very simple, I want to fill this receiver tank with a functional equivalent to brake cleaner and dispense it with shop air. I dont intend to leave it pressurized when not in use. I'll have a check valve, ball valve and a regulator to control the air and the fluid will be delivered through...

    Handle for Custom Garden Hoe

Aluminum is cold and lacks character. A good quality wood handle is hardly heavier and looks so much nicer, is comfortable, warm. Your mom deserves better than a piece of tube

Question re battery capacity and power. Milwaukee M18

You would be correct. Higher voltage is what will make it more powerful, for a short time... If you can't modify the airend then just send it back. My ridgid hand vac runs just fine on 18v and it's probably 5 years old. They messed up a simple product Just clarifying 18v 2ah. Sure it drains...

Muriatic acid, dilute by eye something like a decent size splash th a Rubbermaid container (always add acid to the water and not the other way) and throw them all in overnigh. It's my go to. If they're not very rusty at all then use a much more dilute mix, I never measure but to give an idea I...

7.5HP Air Compressor Burning Up Motors?

I'm assuming you dialed in the compressors settings already? What's your piping like? As others have said that motor is **** and you shouldn't be running that hard. You've got a massive resistance somewhere or some really dirty power. Screw compressors are supposed to be quiet. Is your oil...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I built a device to fill aerosol cans then had this great idea to use my extra, smaller receiver tank on my air system as a reservoir for a mix of brake cleaner equivalent

What is the correct way to add a light to a shed, nearest electrical is an outdoor outlet 15a.

A couple was a figurative term, probably more like 6 or 8. I mean I'm not a total idiot

Just to be clear I agree that it's substandard by definition and what might be acceptable to me I shouldn't leave for someone else. You guys are correct

Cutting a Propane Tank - Best Gas Detector?

Instead of buying a detector you'll use once why not cut it while it's full of water?

What is the correct way to add a light to a shed, nearest electrical is an outdoor outlet 15a.

I agree, there is a reason for alot of these codes. That being said, the other half is quite capable herself and knows exactly where the line is. That's the only other person that can grant anybody else permission to dig there. It's in a conduit, and is the only line on that breaker labeled...

What is the correct way to add a light to a shed, nearest electrical is an outdoor outlet 15a.

Why would I waste my time digging an 18" trench? There's no underground services, it's in my backyard. It's a straight line from the junction. There is no reason for anyone to touch it. And it's in conduit anyway

What is the correct way to add a light to a shed, nearest electrical is an outdoor outlet 15a.

In the city I'd do it to code. Where I am though a couple inches is fine. Unless I'm terribly misinformed, nobody should be disturbing the ground here other than me

What is the correct way to add a light to a shed, nearest electrical is an outdoor outlet 15a.

The correct way is the one that safely works If that outlet is on its own breaker then I'd lay conduit a couple inches down and tie right into it. Depending on your expected usage and the potential of disturbing the lines of course
