Stanley Black and Decker Warranty is a Joke.......

Unused I refer to as out in the field I have a number of boxes and this problem started a few years ago. Back then Stanley acknowledged the problem, verfied that each one had a "diamond" on the handle and said that there was a problem with the plastic and would replace them if I sent them to...

Stanley Black and Decker Warranty is a Joke.......

So much for a lifetime tool warranty when you send them to a location in Concord NC that has no phone, no email, no supervisor, and for some reason its seems no accountability. Phone calls, emails, chat sessions all end in the same phrase "we will look into it and someone will get back to you"...

How to get Snap-On warranty replacement?

I have dealt with both local dealers (Truck) and Kenosha. I will say that one of my former route guys was 50 /50 on the helpful side. I had switched fields and had more tools than I knew what to do with and would only buy little things of the truck when i was in town. When I came down to...

    Who makes OTC Torque Wrenches?

I am looking for fixed 130 or 140. It is going in a road service kit and I know the service guys won't remember to turn and adjustable to 0 when done and have the chance of over torq by setting it up in the dark and not seeking the numbers correctly.

    Replacement Snap On Screwdriver Blades

I have never had a problem buying just the blades. When I use to travel I would buy a few "special" long 1/8 tips and replace them myself on the road and swap them out with the dealer when I got home.

Thats the only door I use. Discovered that when i had them doing monthly oil changes on my truck when I was out of town. Small town WM so they had a decent work ethic. At one point I would take the oil of my choice, filter of my choice (They carried AC at the time) off the shelf bring it to...

    fixing up Snap-on kra-53a have a look

Nice score. You can sell the tools and pay for a paint job. Lot's of time scuffing the paint on the drawers and getting ready for paint. Best bet is if you know someone who has a paint boot and do it over a weekend so you can do the bottom of the cab and the drawers and then turn them over.

Di Acro 24 roller, shear, and brake

Those are great pieces. I have the roller and brake. To be honest the only time I have used the roller was to make radius sides for a tool box on an old truck. The stock was way too thick for for the roller but we took it nice and slow. and it came out nice. I may be interested in buying...

Every Thing You Always Wanted to Know About Electrolytic Rust Removal

A trick I use is to cut notches in a piece of PVC water pipe with a cap glued on the bottom. Put a piece of rebar in the PVC and place into your piece. The PVC prevents the anode from touching the piece. Another thing I do is put wire mesh, concrete wire etc. on the bottom of the tank and...
