Need to move a Classic 78 - Tips??

I just had my classic 78 moved by a tow truck. He only strapped down the wheels really well to avoid any scratches. It was also full with tools. Also don't forget to remove the top mat. Mine flew away.

Metric vs. SAE Std tool use

I went by for 4 years without any metric wrenches or sockets. I work on hot rods and american classics. I started using Metrics once we started working on high end european cars and street rods. But I use about 90% SAE

    Why Snap-On?

I think you are at the right age to buy tools from the trucks. Last year I was 23 years old, and bought a little more than $6k on Snap-on, Matco, Mac and Cornwell. Now if I was older, married and had kids, I don't think I would be able to afford them.

Out of all the big USA tool companies..why does Cornwell never get discussed here?

I have always had a Cornwell dealer in my area. I stopped buying Cornwell air tools after breaking one pneumatic hammer and hole puncher and being a couple of months out of warranty. Their rebuild prices are about 70% of what it would cost if I buy it new.

How tough is snap on credit?

I was on the same boat as OP. I have several collections and bad credit. I asked my snap-on dealer if there was a chance for me to get approved. He only asked if I owe child support, S.O. Credit and/or filed bankruptcy. I said no. 15 minutes later I was approved at 18% interest rate. Gave me...
