    No to anti seize , yes to 1 drop of engine oil. And only 1 drop. If you are doing flanged lug nuts then the flange to nut each get a drop and hand spun prior to installation.

    Torque wrench question for basic brakes, oil change, etc jobs

    While I do own torque wrenches, they are only used on critical internal engine applications. (Bearings,head bolts) and drive shaft bolts. Most other applications get German torque "goodt n tite" . Just remember when using this method tight is tight, too tight is broke.

    Tools checked out of the crib are anything larger than an inch and specialty tools. Each board is collar coded. With a color picture of the item behind it, in a sort of a shadow boxed fashion.

    Forgot to mention the wrenches were proto, dewalt electric tools, knipex. Every thing was of good quality. There is a tool board for each bay and tools are color coded to the board.

    I alway ask for those that feel solder is better to show me factory soldered joint in there current vehicles harness.. Proper crimping is better than solder.

    i am thinking the cheapest easiest way to do this ,is to purchase a larger tap driver . time is money and reducing the shank size on the taps so they are still squared is going to take time .

    How are you tire guys cleaning the bead area before mounting new tires?

    we use a 6in knotted wire wheel on a 6 inch grinder . we only do large truck tires . for lube it is some type of soap that you mix with water . it is very thick a handful of soap to a gallon of watewr works well
