Of course, everybody does. If you have a warranty issue with a product that you’ve owned for a few years, do they come to your porch to pick it up the damaged item and drop off a new one? The stores around here won’t do that. I wish they did.

I’m retired also and am in Lowes, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, etc. at least once per week. It’s nearly zero additional effort to do a warranty exchange at these places If I’m already there. $11 is $11.
