Got a fair bit done today. Sheet rock is going up. the work bench is getting adjusted. I'd still be working, but ran out of screws.

it is actually less than three feet of overhang, and the intent is to leave it for just that purpose; tools, a compressor and a scrap wood rack.

Electrical rough-in inspection completed, so now we are onto the interior.

The remainder of the wiring got roughed in today and everything works as advertised. It is almost bright enough to get a tan. Inspection tomorrow followed by a fun filled weekend of insulation and sheet rock.

Garage door sensors are wired in and running off an extension cord for now. I am looking forward to getting the wiring buttoned up this week so I can start finishing out the interior.

No pictures today, but the exterior construction was completed today. Electrical will be here next week to run wire, and sheet-rock will go up next weekend.

Oddly enough, I have had 2 hand truck/wheelbarrow combos stolen. the third I put TRUMP stickers all over and no one has touched it.

Moving right along. Painted the back wall. its under cover so it can dry, and I can start hanging yard tools back there soon. Prepping lights and the garage door opener for wiring.

The last of the windows and trim were installed. Next up, sealing the gaps between the wall and brick columns and running wire.

I wish we could have simply sealed it and been done, however a previous owner painted the house, which is clad in the same cedar. we looked into stripping the house and learned that for the expense, it would not be worth the effort, since one can never get all the paint removed. It was a...

Expecting the windows installed this week as well as all the siding up. security lights were located and the remainder of the eceltrical should be sorted out. it will be at least another week for the door.
