I used precut sheets of oven paper. The stuff you lay under baking goods. Nothing sticks to it and it's cheap. I love this thread though admittedly I'm better with metal than wood. Wood always does exactly the opposite of what I want it to. Metal on the other hand... my mind sees the welding...
