Good idea with the pegboard! I had planned on using some cork board or maybe a white board as well. I'm going to be building a car in the garage, so having things to write on or things posted in there will be beneficial to me.

Thanks Scott, so something more along these lines- Any suggestions for where I had the open shelving? I didn't want to put enclosed cabinets thinking that it would "hide" the door. the space underneath was going to be reserved for the lawnmower.
