    Quincy Compressor at Lowes

I've got the same model Quincy. It runs approx. 20 times a day for the last 5 years. Never had a problem with it. We have changed the pump oil a few times and drain tank every day. I have burnt up a comparable IR unit in about a week. The pump developed a rod knock. It could very well be a bad...

Yes I am aware of that. The stump is about 5 foot away from the slab, so hopefully we won't have any serious problems. I'm sure there are still some pretty large roots underneath but I made the footer extra deep to hopefully compensate. Only time will tell.

    Kershaw knife- what to get?

I've carried a 1620 scallion for two years now. Assisted opening still works great even though it gets packed full of crud. The pocket clip has some side to side play in it, from a 4 wheeler crash I assume. I've never once had it open by itself in my pocket even without using the lock feature. I...

Small Welding - Fixture Table build

Yep I have kept that in mind from the start of the hinge build. I'm going to try it without it first. If I feel it's necessary I can always add it later.

Got a little more welding done. Im not sure what material i got ahold of at work, but it was NOT happy with 70s -2 filler. I know I should use 309ss but all i had was 308. I hope it holds up, this is a pretty stressed piece.

concrete is poured. They estimated 9 yerds which i thought was a little low, but i trusted them since they do it every day. Turns out we needed 12 yards and they poured me a ramp because they brought extra concrete. Im sure the ramp will bust since it wasnt dug out but we needed to dump the...

Thanks I hope so. Ya I'm thinking of running dry graphite as a lubricant. I'm not sure what would happen with the graphite if I accidentally ground through it while welding though.
