I'm in the process of rebuilding a 325 that had almost identical damage - the top of the piston is dinged but no scrapes or gouges on the cylinder walls. With mine, the damage was caused by one of the valve discs breaking, so you may want to double check the valves.

Thanks, I picked one up last week too. I also picked up the cast iron base for it from Amazon. It makes it pretty stable and yet remains portable.

My garage is about 25'x25' too. I mounted my air hose reel between the garage door tracks, on the ceiling about 6 feet in. There's plenty of hose to reach inside, and more length available for outside. I bolted it to a piece of 2x12 toe-nailed between the joists, but if I were doing it again...
