Inspector said I need to have a "outside" rail, but that can include the hand rail. Other than that - everything else is done. Inspection again in a few weeks, then hopefully insulation before late fall and maybe even drywall...

The rough hewn siding- "board and batten" style was a prerequisite... the wood is from a lumber mill about 4 miles from here! The best thing about local wood-fresh milled wood- is the smell! It smells great. Thanks -long time SAAB freak.
