A guy named Neal Emmons made it. It's a weldment. I'm not sure why he doesn't put that in the description unless he's hoping someone will think it's a genuine old vise. Here's a couple progress photos from another one he made.

    Benchmaster Mill

Anywhere between $800 to $1800. I had one for awhile and would not recommend them. On a stand they take the same space as a floor standing mill. I have had an Atlas, Clausing, Millrite, Benchmaster, Rong Fu, Mattsson Zetterlund and others. I passed on another Benchmaster at $200. They...

The Tool Consignment Store (Massachusetts) - What a great idea!

There's one in Newark Delaware. I bought something from them in 2018 and they're still open so I guess it's paying the bills. http://www.delawaretoolexchange.com/

Those don't come up very often. I may still have the brochure for it. If I do I'll email it to you. Also don't go wasting perfectly good red paint. It's supposed to be that color just maybe not everywhere. Where did you find info about Holland's making them? I haven't seen that before.

That was the last of my big ones. I'm trying to clear space in the garage to do a vehicle rebuild. I still have some smaller ones like this Sheldon that's helping with a die filer refurb.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Sent this one down the road today. It's the first big vise I ever bought and the main user in my garage for over a decade. I've sold other ones before, but none with so many memories tied to it. image upload

drivesitfar - Yes it's a 79. You have one too don't you? Or maybe the Wilton version? The photo makes the stand look a little taller than it is. I think once the rotors are painted they won't be so noticeable. Without them the vise sits too low and at the moment I don't have anything else to...
