Had some pipe fittings that wouldn’t budge years ago working at the hardware store. Found a random can of fluid film and gave it a try. I was impressed! Also not a fan of the smell but it’s not something I have to use daily, either.

I went to a store today that could best be described as a Restore on steroids. https://www.thestockpile.org/ Lots and lots of building materials. Found a handful of tools, a dollar each. The Schlage lock was 5 bucks.
