I’m a little late to the party, I pulled my front clip and took the engine and trans out together on my 77. Front cops come off easy. My 79 mud truck is down to 2 steering lines to rad hoses, fan wire and 12 bolts.

With two possible mud races in September, tore into the mud truck this past week looking for the cause of a random backfire. I found a bent pushrod, going to put new pushrods in it for this year. This winter it is going to be coming apart.

Friday night bought a new to me larger welder. Got to wire up one of the 220 outlets, wish I would of put heavier wire in that, as the welder is calling for 50 amp. I did get it set up and weld and it hasn’t tripped the 30 amp breaker. Plus I used the crane.
