Help me choose an air ratchet

i have blue point 1/4 and 3/8. I'm a mechanic so they see daily abuse. I'm very satisfied with them. they are cheap and get it done. I find myself using my 1/4" more often

    SO Prybars

I got the new style. I like them. I used the old style w/o the striking handle before I got these. I liked the way the older style handles looked better, but I can't complain about the new ones. Feel good in my hand and do what they are supposed to do. Haven't had to strike it yet, but I have no...

    Snapon TDTDM500 tap and die

Was using the search feature and came across this thread. I got a tdtdm500a but it doesn't come with the reverse drill bits in the lid. My managers set did. Does anyone have a part number I can order just the reverse drill bits from Henson/Irwin to complete my set!

Use & Abuse of Crescent Wrenches by tubalcain

i always thought it wasn't about breaking the wrench but getting a good grip on the nut or bolt. when you pull the wrench the correct way the adjustable portion of the wrench tightens on the fastener. when you do it the opposite way it has more of a possibility to open slightly and slipping...

    Brake Bleeder Options?

nothing beats the 2 person guy on the pedal and guy running around with a line wrench. I have both the motive power bleeder and the hf air bleeder in my box. I still won't let a car out of the shop without finishing it "the old fashion" way

Show us your factory flaw and unfinished hand tools

this is a cool thread. I don't know if this counts, they are made in usa craftsman torx bit sockets they are all crooked, its hard to capture in 1 pic but in person there is no denying it. you just roll them around in your fingers and watch the tops wobble lol. They've been like this brand new...
