And the last one.

Finally, the toolbox is finished! Here are the pics.

This is the second box I made, and be sure that the third would have some things different. I'm not a pro builder, but one of my dreams is to own a fabrication shop!!!!

I doubt about putting crommed pulls all along the drawers. Also have to put a rubber sheet at the bottom of the drawers, to protect the paint.

thank you guys, I have to put two more drawers, and a door on the left bay. Don't have time to finish it until the week end.

An update of the project. It's almost done!

about 1/4 of snap on price!!!!

A steel shop in town did the bending, according to my drawings. I tacked it together with a very cheap stick welder.

Been busy with other projects, but today I paint the thing! The wide drawer and the center bay are finished.

82 xs 650 sh...kicker. I tried to return the 70's look. (In the 80's yamaha gave a chopper look to all xs 650) Thank you for the complimment

Pics of what I did today: Put part of the rails where the slides will be screwed on. I also got the drawers in .18 gauge to test if they were rigid enough. Test passed, from now on will use gauge .18 in the rest of the tool box. <script...

Nice big shop! I am also a big motorcycle fun. Don't have the experience you have there, but doing the work is what counts. Currently working on 82 xs 650, a 69 Triumph boneville, and a 59 Triumph tiger cub. Also working on a rolling tool box. You can see part of my work here...
