Haha! It happens!!
Nice. I just left the airport over there a few minutes ago actually. Go check out the BBQ truck that’s there today. It’s easily in the top 10 BBQ I’ve had in the past decade or more.
I got my shipping email literally moments after my last post.
I wonder if the cancellations are related to the locations they’re being shipped from? Mine is shipping from the Fort Worth location.
My order was just shy of $100. I didn’t order anything I didn’t need, but did get something I was too cheap to buy before. I got an order placement email & the website still says processing order. Hopefully mine still comes in... we shall see!
I have the 20V DeWalt angle grinder and love it. It's still loud like all the rest, but is so nice to have. It's every bit as powerful as a corded one, and I have a ton of batteries for the 20V line.
To clarify, mine are the type that are fixed pans, not the type that use hydraulics to lift the wheels.
I’m sure I would have different results if I put my 1 ton Dodge on them, but for cars they’ve worked for me.
Good luck in your search.
I’m all for spending money in places where it needs to be spent, but the sets sold at Northern Tool or Harbor Freight will move the cars around just as well. The difference in cost would buy you another tool chest or a few tires for either of those.
I personally have the set from HFT and they...
The el cheapo watch tool kit from HF has paid for itself for me many times over for me. I even used it to disassemble a mechanical watch I own to fix a botched repair that a jeweler did. That felt like doing surgery! Batteries are obviously much simpler than that though.
You can get a...
I have some smaller ones, with the biggest topping out at 12”. I like that I can use my 1/2” ratchets or impacts. They aren’t for every occasion, but like most of my tools they are handy when I want/need to use them over another nearly equal equivalent.
Electrical tape has always worked the few times I’ve been concerned about it. It’s also good for tightening up a U-joint without taking out too much flexibility.
I misunderstood something someone else wrote, plus the photos didn’t come through initially.
Another thought would be to get a dremel and tiny dental shaped cone bit to surgically remove some surrounding wood so you can get some better access to it. If the wood is going to get damaged any, at...
I had a 24” connected to either a 12” or 18” (can’t remember which), plus a U-joint in there as well. That’s the only way I could get to some of the upper transmission bolts so I could change the flexplate that was fractured around the center.
The only thing that comes to mind is trying to get a small pair of bullnose cutters. If that doesn’t work, I’d go the route of tapping from the back side, as suggested above.
