Help me finally pull the trigger on a router

Can't go wrong with the Bosch, I've got 2 or 3. The Metabo/Hitachi KM12vc would be my other suggestion, I have 2-3 of those as well. I prefer them slightly to the Bosch, but the availability seems spotty. I don't use the plunge bases anymore, I use the depth adjustment for plunge cuts. The...

Tekton push button adjustable pliers pliers?

I think they were NWS. I bought some from Lowes, and they looked the same as the old made in germany pics, they were labelled "forged with US steel" or similar, but nowhere indicated the actual country of manufacture.

    Socket suggestions?

+1 cat/williams usa, or proto. Taiwan Craftsman V series (facom?) actually aren't bad and can be affordable. Bundy was a born Legend, that game was just another example of it.

Tool to Press Bearing into Sprocket

I moved my press outside, it's actually easier to access than it was when in the garage.

    Grease Gun for Average Joe?

I've noticed most garages i go into have at least one vintage USA grease gun on the floor/in a corner somewhere that the resident/owner would be glad to be rid of.

    Impact Driver

I use the block of wood and ratchet method mentioned above, even though I have impact wrenches. That said, if you have a compressor, you can get a used 1/2" impact affordably, and the ryobi you mentioned is probably not bad for $100.

    Knipex vs channelock

It's better to have both options if you have the room. The cobras can be to aggressive on softer materials.

New to me Vintage Craftsman tool box

Some saws, 2 with the price tag still attached:oops: Maybe harder to see, but the middle part of the Stanley's blade looks like they used it on metal or something that knocked down the edge: I didn't clean this at all, just immediately wiped it down with oil. The edge of the blade looks...

New to me Vintage Craftsman tool box

I like these Sears 9-3687 and Craftsman 9-36838 wood chisels. I've not seen the Sears made in Japan ones before. Anyone know when Sears stopped listing Simpson-Sears on tools? I've only seen it on much older tools. Whoever had the red handled set must have bruised their palms pounding nails or...
