Honister, up in the hills above Keswick in the Lake District had over 14" of rain fall in a 48 hour period. The river through Cockermouth was 8ft or so higher than normal. :eek: Not been too bad here today. The Amber warning for rain was cancelled. Still a bit wet and soggy in the fields...

Theres 12 flood warnings and 41 flood alerts at the moment here. Cumbria and the Lake District seem to have got it worse at the moment. I think they had 8" of rain yesterday. Cockermouth was getting ready to being evacuated last night. Only a bit of light rain when i went out this morning though.
