    Metric Tap & Die: Gearwrench or Craftsman?

    I picked up older craftsman standard & metic sets from e-bay for a resonable amount. I also ordered higher quality duplicate taps from the MSC sale flyer for the common sizes I use most. The craftsman dies do a resonable job cleaning up boogered threads. So far this combo has work well for me. Tom

    Toughest car repair. Professional or non

    Heater core 89 S-10, also had a digital dash that filled the cab with white smoke at 60 mph when it went south, the only dash light that worked after that was the high beam indicator.     Digital Verneir Calipers

    I use a Mitutoyo model SC-6 at work and at home, they are very rugged and can stand up well to standard shop work.
