QuickJack - for those of you wondering

Depending on when you purchased yours, if it is an earlier revision like mine, it does not have the auto-locking safety bars. As others have done, I put a zip tie on the upper bar that I slide over to hold up the safety bars when collapsing the lift. Sill enjoy the lift but in the early phases...

    LM8500 Wall Controller Failure.

Appreciate everyone sharing their stories. I had done the 888LM control panel retofit on my two openers not long ago with the Internet Gateway 828LM and they have been overall good. Recently one of the control panels started acting strange (constant beeping) and I ended up tracing it back to a...

    Just A Nerd's Garage

Love the thread, garage, and especially the thread title. As a fellow-IT professional, I can appreciate the home racks. I have done a few of them at home years gone by but I usually end up tearing down the servers because of power consumption so kudos to you :-)

torquepower85 - Thanks for the input. Yes, I have looked at MaxJax and it is a consideration as well but still dependent on the floor construction. petee c - 8' under the garage door openers and 10.5' to the ceiling.

3 Car Garage - Lift Type & Placement

Looks great! What brand is the mid-rise? If I had the additional depth, I think the 4-post would be more of a contender. Good feedback! :3gears:

3 Car Garage - Lift Type & Placement

Moved in to a new house last August and finally got to check one of my dream options off the list... Owning a 3 car garage! :bounce: Of course in the stereotypical fashion of this forum, I could see the use for a 4 car now ;) Okay, back on topic... So almost a year later things are finally...
