Bob, with all of your toys, do you have whole house surge protection? Sent from my LG-H918 using The Garage Journal mobile app

The disks are durable and if there were any concern about failure, we would have already seen or heard about it. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Well, pilgrim, you could test the flakes somewhere, but what would be the fun in that. Did you decide to localize each flake color to stripes in specific spots or just going for the free-for-all? Hope it goes down well! Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Lucky you that your fridge is fine. Mine had to get the 2nd full fridge defrost because the frost was starting to hit the fan and it is a terrible racket. If you haven't already done so, you should probably transfer all of your manuals off the '02 gateway machine (and anything else important)...

    BEFORE & AFTER....A Tool Polisher's Haven

Perhaps you could finish a small section of the barn to which you could introduce a dehumidifier. It would certainly be an investment to prevent any further damage to your tools. I'm just now working on my old detached garage and my plan is to hopefully seal it up enough that I could justify...

Bob, I've been enjoying reading your entire thread. I had to skip forward once I got to around page 40 because I was trying to figure out if the photos were ever restored, but I guess this is an issue with photobucket. It's been a hoot and I've been fortunate enough to not have any food or...

    The Bimmer Basement

Can't wait to see how your new floor ends up. Eventually, I am going to start my own thread to solicit the help I am going to need to make my small shop better. Wish I found GJ sooner. :( Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Below 265 SQ/FT Very small garage in Russia

I am going to try to check out all of your videos. I have always wanted to learn how to use a lathe and you make some beautiful and functional pieces. I am very impressed with what you have accomplished. When you replace the caps on those circuit boards, where do you find all of the...

After looking at the photo again, makes you wonder if you could squeeze the car in using some winching straps and carefully tightening it so as not to cause any permanent change.

Looks like you could just pop the trim that is catching the trim on your bimmer on one or both sides. Alternatively, you could cut out the 1-2" section of trim on both sides and then replace it and few would be wiser except everyone here. The other option could be cutting out the section of...

Maybe they will drop off cords too. I've noticed some contractors throw away perfectly good items during cleanup because they are lazy and know it is easy to replace and charge customers for them... Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

    6/3 or 6/2

+1 for the 6/3 w/ground. I am in the process of planning out my subpanel install and have all of the materials. I doubt I would need a welder, but at some point having 220-240v will probably be very handy. I could be mistaken but I believe it splits the current draw depending on how you wire...

    The Bimmer Basement

This could prove to be motivational, but my house was erected 100 years ago as I was informed by an independent tax assessor. I suppose having eyes on the project probably wouldn't hurt. I have all of the materials to improve the wiring from my house, just need the permission from the boss...

    The Bimmer Basement

I hear you about losing space. A gate could keep "Hof" in safely. I read the whole 47 pages today (:eyecrazy:) and can't believe how much you've accomplished since you started the thread. Makes me wish I had more than the 10x20 detached POS but it is a little inspiring to improve what I have...

Wow. Just wow. Any particular reason you did not put steps in for the deck or is this potentially in the future?
