Anxiety Kicking In - Picking Up 4 Post Tomorrow

The driveway being torn up is what prevented me from doing what you said with the cherry picker. To your second point...can you tell me more about that. I thought it was 5-6 feet from the back of the garage for the rod (i still don't know what rod it is based on watching the install videos)...

Can my High Lift Track go Higher?

I'll call it good for now and if I have the need for more height down the road, will address with a different garage door company (or DDM).

500 pounds sounds like an underestimate. :P

Can my High Lift Track go Higher?

Thanks for the feedback. Asking for clearance of the car on top of the lift. Won't be an issue based on the cars I'll have in there now, but just asking for long-term. If I'm reading correctly...they could shorten the horizontal track and also put it higher up on the bracket that attaches...

Can my High Lift Track go Higher?

Had the garage door, LM 8500W and high lift track installed today. The track hangs about a foot from the ceiling as it goes up. Any reason they wouldn't have been able to run it higher towards the wall? Thanks!

Anxiety Kicking In - Picking Up 4 Post Tomorrow

Literally some of the heaviest stuff I have ever moved. Backed the trailer up close to the new garage and unloaded. The ramps with five guys was impossible without using dollies to roll in to the back and then off.

Anxiety Kicking In - Picking Up 4 Post Tomorrow

I have my friends from the gym down the street T'd up to come over to help. :D The rest of the driveway will be torn up before I get to the house tonight with the trailer and the lift is going in the new garage. Fingers crossed everything goes smooth and I don't hold up my coworker too much!

There are a few places where it dips down pretty good. I probably will back it up there so that the u loading of each track is much shorter than from the street or similar. We shall see

Driveway and current walkway to the front door started getting torn up today. That will be done tomorrow along with the garage door/garage door opener install. Pavers should be done by the beginning of next week.

Anxiety Kicking In - Picking Up 4 Post Tomorrow

That's what's giving me the anxiety...it's a coworker and don't want to hold him up all night. Lining up people to be here to help unload. The driveway looks like this as of today and tomorrow will take out the rest.

Anxiety Kicking In - Picking Up 4 Post Tomorrow

Putting together on Sunday with one person who has the same lift and installed themselves as well as my buddy that's helped me install everything on my cars from suspension to superchargers. Have watched the installation videos five times. :D

Anxiety Kicking In - Picking Up 4 Post Tomorrow

I'm generally an anxious person to begin with. Picking my Advantage four post up from the YRC terminal tomorrow thanks to the help of a co-worker with a flatbed trailer. My new garage is ready for the lift, but the driveway really isn't. They are starting to tear the current driveway up...

Not a ton to look at in terms of progress. They painted the garage yesterday and have the final inspection today. Then will add the popouts along the bottom for when the stone gets installed within the next few weeks. Next week the driveway will all come out and be replaced with the pavers...

Let there be light! Electrical fully done inside. I didn't even realize until today they are two gang outlets which means I have way overkill of outlets. 21 sets of four outlets (84 total outlets).
