    Let's see your toolbox.

As promise, the toolbox tour. I know I've said it before but I'm really not a tool snob so there's a bit of everything in the mix. Feel free to ask questions if you see something you don't recognize. I primarily work out of my cart so it's set up with the tools that get used 98% of the...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Are you absolutely positive that they are HF carts? My coworker has an old SnapOn cart that is VERY similar to the HF carts (probably the other way around, actually). Not saying that there aren't shady sellers out there, just want to mention that The HF cart is a really close copy of an older...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Since I use the tools in my cart for 98% of the jobs I do, I added a second story. I've had the Craftsman box for almost 20 years so I put it back into service. The 3 leg support frame is 1/2" square tube and the corner braces are 1/4" round stock. It's actually very stable. I never...

Finally got some help moving the homemade hutch to the shop. Spent a couple hours after work last night hanging the bright-*** light and cleaning out the black box and consolidating some of my duplicate tools. Took a couple boxes of random stuff home. Not done yet but I'll chip away at it over...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Finally got some help moving the homemade hutch to the shop. Aside from tacking up the obligatory bikini girl calender, I haven't set anything up yet. Spent a couple hours after work last night hanging the bright-*** light and cleaning out the black box and consolidating some of my duplicate...

...And I threw together this hutch for my toolbox at work. Nothing fancy, just some melamine and black spray paint. Considering all I had to work with was a 40 year old Skil saw, it turned out okay. I built a cubby in the upper right corner for books and stuff but I'm not sure I'll be keeping...

I finally snagged some chimney pipe for the furnace. 18' of triple wall for $100 sure beats $100/foot that the fireplace shops wanted.

Wow, I've been slacking on my updates. With work, spring break, and some personal stuff, I actually haven't done much work in the last week or so but here's the pics that bring us up to date. Did a little more painting/assembly/mock-up on my 283. Water pump, pulleys and CS130 alternator...

Making do with what I have!

A bunch of cool stuff going on here. I've had a real appreciation for Buick power for several years. Underrated/underappreciated mills.

Thanks for looking, Guys:). Sean, I really like my 200-4R. It's surprising that they don't get more aftermarket love. If i end up doing a 403 or 455 swap in the Cutlass, I'll probably have one of the specialists build one up like you did.

    Motorcycle Garage Build

Just found your thread thanks to your update. The whole space looks great but I really like the uprights on your bench. They have a very finished look. I also like the use of the lateral file cabinet. I've been thinking about picking a couple up for storing some of my bulkier power tools.

Dug the engine out of the corner and got it up on a stand and torn down for a Krylon rebuild. The engine itself really doesn't need anything. Probably only has 20K since I built it so it should be good to go. Just wanna change up the look of it. Got a couple things in the mail this week...
