    I do heavy equipment. What i was getting at by " as much as i need to magnetize something" was i dont need to do it very often haha. so in the rare event i do i just use the battery. works like a charm try it when ur bored some day :)

    thats neat. keep it away from your wallet haha. for that price It cant hurt to try. for as much as I need to magnetize something, I just coil a piece of 10 or 12 gauge wire around the object and hold the ends of the wire on a battery terminal for 10 seconds or so.

    use it as a press tool? haha. They don't have to because it obviously did not happen doing a job it was designed for but if you have a good relationship with your dealer and spend a lot of money with him sometimes they will take blatantly abused tools for you.

    out of curiosity, I have herd wd-40 uses naphtha as its solvent (lighter fluid) what about goo gone? i have not used it in a long time. It is good stuff but is that a citrus based solvent? I am sure any of these will pull it right off.

    which is dry electrically charged paint. as with anything with paint and body work you use the least abrasive method to get the job done. While powder coating is defiantly more durable than paint, lighter fluid a safe and very effective way to get the decals off
