Well the semi tanks repair didn’t hold at all, either dirty weld. To much material removed or simply just not gonna work. I had to pull both tanks and redo the work

@zmotorsports just an fyi I would maybe treat your jeep fenders again, in a few weeks. Something about jeep plastic and being super dry. I think a second touch will help you get more longevity out of it. The jeep repaint area looks too notch as well!

Picked up the tanks for the truck and started the cleaning process, the guy who did the repairs didn’t clean them before he welded them back up, that was really neat. Then set about getting the engine supported so I could pull the whole front mount bracket off and replace parts

It was good fun to show the crack to boss man, it’s another reason to keep equipment clean. Clean makes it easy to spot damaged or worn parts
