That saw has the plastic oil pump driver. The treads that drive the oil pump can wear and they end up stripping out. The part is cheap and it is easy to replace. You just remove the clutch and drum (good time to replace the drum too) and there it is. Twist out the old one and twist in the new...

Kohler was what you were thinking for the third one or mabee Tecumseh. As for the tool kit In addition to the above listed tools I would add a ignition tester, a compression guage, and a tach. I use at least one of these on almost everey engine I work on.

Let me know if you change your mind about the Pay pall thing. I would take the Williams lot with a Postal money order.
